I’m a digital communications and advocacy professional with extensive experience in political and mission-driven work.
I’m an unapologetically passionate communicator, adept at transforming complex ideas into compelling stories and creating content that resonates. Whether it’s crafting engaging social media campaigns or developing innovative messaging strategies, I thrive on finding fresh, impactful ways to connect with audiences.
Beyond technical skills, I bring an unapologetic passion for collaboration and mission-driven work. I excel in team environments where creative ideas are developed collectively, and I know how to balance structure with the flexibility needed to respond to breaking news or shifting priorities.
I take pride in the fact that I lead with curiosity and constant reflection. Successful communication and marketing strategy requires the agility and prowess to know when and how to pivot and the humility to try something new, fail, and learn from it.
At the University of Northern Iowa, I studied public relations and Spanish. In the midst of a global pandemic, I graduated with two degrees in three years and as if that weren’t enough, I decided to tack on another challenge: I graduated from the University Honors Program at UNI where I capped off my time with a thesis project studying the intersection of politics and storytelling entitled “Meet your audience where they are: The dissemination and reception of political messaging among young voters.”
Aside from my professional interests, I am certified yoga instructor, and I love coffee, reading, DIY projects, walks with my pup, Frankie, and spending time with friends and family.
