I’m an unapologetically passionate communicator and leader, always looking for new ways to connect and create. Whether it’s crafting catchy social media content or turning complicated ideas into stories that people actually care about, I’m in my element. I love working to tell unique stories in fresh, engaging ways—and I’m constantly challenging myself to do it better and smarter.

Since 2021, I’ve honed my expertise in strategic communications and advocacy at my local Planned Parenthood affiliate, navigating complex digital and political landscapes. The overturning of Roe v. Wade and the ensuing attacks on abortion access have tested my resilience and sharpened my ability to channel frustration into actionable motivation. Working alongside colleagues and partners, I’ve leveraged digital platforms to mobilize advocates, foster intergenerational investment in reproductive freedom, and drive meaningful collective action.

Prior to my journey in the professional world, I attended the University of Northern Iowa. I loved my time at UNI, particularly because of the experiential learning. The growth I have experienced extends outside of the classroom with the internships I have held and the organizations in which I am involved. During the summer of 2019, I served as a marketing and communications intern for Delta Dental of Iowa where my experiences were so wide ranging and divergent that it’s difficult to describe all I learned and accomplished in three short bullet points on a resume.. While on campus, I have worked at North American Review, the oldest literary magazine in the United States, as the social media coordinator. I previous worked in University Relations for the University of Northern Iowa as a communications and social media assistant. I tell people this is the BEST job on campus, as I collaborated alongside my supervisor to tell the story of my university by highlighting individual and university accomplishments through several social media platforms. Basically, I met and interacted with the coolest people on and off campus and I had the honor to tell their stories.
