I capped off my senior year with the coolest job on campus in University Relations for the University of Northern Iowa as a communications and social media assistant. I had the opportunity to tell the best stories about the most amazing people on the coolest campus.*

*This is my opinion, and while it is entirely subjective, I would also argue it is 100% true.

Alongside my supervisor, I planned and strategized how to tell the important stories by creating content to promote campus events on social media using various photos, videos, graphics, and Twitter polls.

My favorite story I did in this position has a meaningful message, but I will let the video speak for itself.

Another favorite project of mine was brainstorming, shooting, and editing a project to tell the ultimate story: how to survive a college sick day. This was edited down into a series of short clips which were shared as individual Instagram stories which together presented the answer to the infamous college sick day.

Finally, near the end of my time in this position, I pushed myself to be the most creative I had ever been with designing and creating gifs celebrating the university.
